As the fall season heads towards the much-awaited Thanksgiving holiday this November, ABS-CBN’s global flagship network TFC, in collaboration with ABS-CBN Star Cinema, is bringing what is billed as the “Ultimate Homecoming Movie of the Year” to the world-class cities of Los Angeles, Toronto and Dubai.
On the occasion of TFC’s 30th anniversary, Filipino superstars Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, lead stars of “Hello, Love, Again” – the sequel to the phenomenal 2019 box office hit, “Hello, Love, Goodbye” – will make celebrity appearances at the scheduled special screenings this month, offering fans a unique chance to connect with the beloved stars.
Interest in the screenings is at a feverish high, with almost all sold out in a few hours, showing the overwhelming anticipation and excitement from Filipino and international fans for the movie. Each screening will have a Q&A session with Kathryn and Alden, and photo opportunity sessions in groups to allow fans to capture unforgettable moments with the film’s lead actors.
A groundbreaking film collaboration by ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema and GMA Pictures, “Hello, Love, Again” picks up from main characters Joy and Ethan’s respective complexities in their new lives five years after Joy moved to Canada from Hong Kong to pursue her dreams.
As their paths cross again unexpectedly in Canada, will the two get to rekindle their romance and finally get their chance to be together? Or amid their sacrifices and loneliness in a foreign land to provide for their families, will the two OFW’s remain ill-fated in love?
“Hello, Love Again” is directed by renowned rom-com director Cathy Garcia-Sampana who also helmed “Hello, Love, Goodbye”.
The brilliant cast includes Joross Gamboa, Valerie Concepcion, Jennica Garcia, Kevin Kreider, Jobert Austria, Mark Labella, Marvin Aritrangco, Ruby Rodriguez, among others.
The following are the dates and venues for the special screenings:
LOS ANGELES, USA, November 22, Friday, at Cinemark Carson. Both 5:40pm and 8:25pm screenings are SOLD OUT. An additional screening is in the works due to insistent public demand.
TORONTO, CANADA, November 24, Sunday, at Cineplex Yonge-Dundas with four special screenings at 10:40am, 1:25pm, 5:10pm, and 7:55pm, all SOLD OUT. Canada holds a special significance as Alberta is the setting of the film, thus generating a strong connection between the movie and the Filipino Canadian community.
DUBAI, UAE, November 30, Saturday, at Reel Cinemas, Dubai Mall. The 10:45am, 12 noon, and 4:30pm screenings are SOLD OUT. An additional screening at 5:30pm has been added as of November 4 and tickets are already selling fast for this.
