A Tom Cruise Production, the new Mission: Impossible film is executive produced by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Chris Brock, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, and is based on the television series created by Bruce Geller.
Despite sounding like the final release from the popular film franchise, in July 2023, during the rounds of promotion for Dead Reckoning Part One, Cruise expressed interest in continuing to make further films in the series as Ethan Hunt, despite both films having initially been billed as a send-off to the character.
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning opens only in cinemas, May 21, 2025.
