The highly anticipated nominations for the 67th Annual Grammy Awards have officially been revealed, spotlighting an eclectic mix of artists from across genres and reflecting the evolving landscape of the music industry. The 2025 Grammy nominations, unveiled by the Recording Academy, feature both established legends and rising stars, with a particular emphasis on diversity and genre-blending innovation.

This year, Taylor Swift earns multiple nods across various categories, including Album of the Year for 1989 (Taylor’s Version) and Song of the Year for the hit single “Cruel Summer.” In the Best New Artist category, breakout stars like Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, and Ice Spice make their mark, further adding to their accolades for 2024 which include chart-topping albums, viral hits, and critical acclaim. Rodrigo’s Guts and SZA’s SOS have been fan favorites, while Ice Spice’s unique style has garnered her a dedicated following.

The Record of the Year category sees strong contenders from across genres, with Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, and The Weeknd all securing nominations for their respective singles. Lamar’s introspective work on Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers and Beyoncé’s genre-defying Renaissance continue to garner both critical and commercial success. Beyoncé has earned a total of 11 nominations for the 2025 Grammy Awards, which is a record high. These nominations span several major categories, including Song of the Year for the infectious hit “Cuff It.”

The Weeknd’s viral smash “Save Your Tears” also remains a fan and critic favorite, making his presence in the major categories almost inevitable. Other notable nominees include Bad Bunny, whose Un Verano Sin Ti remains a global phenomenon, and Adele, whose highly anticipated return with 30 has continued to capture hearts around the world.

In addition to these familiar names, the 2025 Grammy nominations also highlight a new wave of international artists, with Afrobeats, Latin pop, and K-pop making significant strides in mainstream recognition, and making the 2025 lineup its most diverse to date.

The ceremony is set to take place in February 2025.
